Ballotin Chocolate Whiskey has invited some of our favorite Louisville brands to come together to celebrate Valentine’s Day with “A Sweetheart of a Celebration” (Saturday, February 9th). Delicious chocolate treats from Cellar Door Chocolates and Chateau Bourbon B&B plus tasty sips from Ballotin Chocolate Whiskey, West 6Th Brewing, and other local brands will be available for sampling.
The Chocolate Takeover benefits The Nicolas Fortin Scholarship. Each year Bourbon Baroque, a group that performs the music of the 17th and 18th centuries, contributes scholarship funds toward a student specializing in Baroque musicianship. In celebration of the romance of Valentine’s Day, there will be Bourbon Baroque musical performances at both Total Wine & More locations. Donations to Bourbon Baroque and the scholarship fund will be gladly accepted at both participating locations.
