Come browse our selection of native plants, trees and shrubs. We have everything you need for your backyard garden. Workshops include:
10-11:30AM Scavenger Sculptures
Inspired by the Land Art Movement, Sarah Kuhn has created a workshop for everyone that wants to engage in nature in a unique and creative way. It is quite simple: take a walk in the woods, collect sticks, rocks, bark, leaves, etc. and create a sculpture. Appropriate for all ages
12-1:00 Wild Edibles: Wild Edible snacks will be available during the lunch hour.
2-3:30 Woodland Wildflower Gardens
Elizabeth Kuhn, Dropseed Nursery Manager, will take you on a tour of the nursery’s woodland wildflower garden and wildflower propagation beds. Elizabeth will discuss garden preparation and maintenance as well as plant propagation. Please bring photos or dimensions of potential shade areas in your garden. We can assist with design and plant selection.
Additional plant sales will be held May 13, 20, and 27th from 9-4. The nursery is open to the public by appointment outside open house dates and times.
